1991 Acura NSX – Immaculate First-Year Example with Full Service History
This 1991 Acura NSX, finished in Formula Red over black leather, is a stunning first-year production example with 75,000 miles and a three-owner history. Always serviced at Rosenthal Acura in Maryland, this NSX remains in exceptional original condition, with no modifications aside from period-correct Weds Adula wheels, installed in 1994. Accompanied by a comprehensive 65+ page service history, including the original owner’s biography and dealership maintenance records from new, this NSX represents a well-documented and meticulously maintained example of Honda’s legendary mid-engine supercar.

Exterior Condition – 9/10
The all-aluminum body retains its original paint, except for the lower front air dam, which was resprayed due to rock chips. There are no accidents, and the undercarriage remains clean with intact jack points. The pop-up headlights function properly, and the period-correct Weds Adula wheels are in good condition, with only minor curb rash on one or two wheels. Notable imperfections include a 1 cm ding on the roof and a 1” touched-up scratch on the rear quarter panel near the antenna.
Interior Condition – 9/10
The black leather interior is in excellent shape, with no tears in the seats and only minor wear on the driver’s seat bolster and headlight indicator stalk. The car has never been smoked in, and all features function correctly, including the heat, A/C, and clock. The original radio is working, though the front right speaker is blown. There is one minor scratch on the center console near the shifter, and the door sills remain free of major scuffing. Thanks to the mid-engine layout, trunk space is surprisingly practical for a supercar.
Drivetrain & Performance – 10/10
Powered by the 3.0L DOHC VTEC V6, this NSX delivers 270 horsepower, revving to an 8,000 rpm redline. Paired with a five-speed manual transmission, the engine runs smoothly with no smoking, leaks, or hesitation, while the transmission shifts seamlessly with no grinding. The unassisted steering offers a pure and direct driving experience, and the race-tuned suspension keeps the car planted and predictable in corners.
A Rare and Well-Preserved Investment-Grade NSX
This 1991 Acura NSX is a pristine, well-maintained, and investment-worthy example of Honda’s revolutionary supercar. With full service records, a clean history, and desirable first-year provenance, it represents a turnkey opportunity for collectors and driving enthusiasts alike.
