This 1972 Oldsmobile 442 was purchased new by the seller’s father and underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration completed in the early 1990s. Finished in green over black with a 4-4-2 appearance and handling package, the car is powered by a rebuilt and performance-enhanced 455ci Rocket V8 paired with a Hurst-shifted Muncie four-speed manual transmission. The restoration included full body panel replacement, frame sandblasting and recoating, a complete engine rebuild with the lower end bored to 460ci, interior reupholstery using Year One components, and refinishing of the chrome bumpers.
