Purchase Options:

1. Blind Auction

• Submit private bids that remain confidential (other participants cannot view your offer or any other active bids).
• You can revise your bid while the auction period is open.
• If your bid is the highest and accepted by the seller, you will receive a notification of your successful submission within three business days after the auction closes.

• Participate in a traditional auction format where the highest bid is visible, allowing you to adjust your offers accordingly.

1959 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible – Two-Owner Example with 390 V8 and Factory Power Options

Offered for sale is this elegant and iconic 1959 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible, finished in eye-catching pale pink over white leather with a matching white power-operated soft top. This well-documented example has been in the same family since 1963 and has received careful restoration and maintenance throughout its life. With its unmistakable tailfins, sweeping lines, and signature dual bullet taillights, this Cadillac represents the pinnacle of postwar American automotive design.

Power comes from a factory 390ci V8 engine rated at 325 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, paired with a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission. In recent years, the car has received extensive service updates including a replacement aluminum radiator, water pump, fuel pump, battery, and tires, along with a brake system overhaul in 2019. It runs and drives smoothly and is well-suited for weekend cruising or show duty.

Originally delivered in Ebony Black, this Series 62 was repainted in its current pale pink in the 1990s following the installation of replacement rear bodywork after a rear-end collision in the 1970s. The repaint presents well, and the body features fender skirts, a driver-side mirror, chrome wheel covers, and a set of Coker Classic whitewall tires. While some chrome trim shows light pitting and the retractable antenna is bent, the overall presentation remains highly attractive. Spare trim and upholstery buttons are included in the sale.

The white leather interior features a power-adjustable front bench seat, black carpeting, and color-matched door panels. Amenities include power windows, a heater, and an AM radio (intermittent function). The original dash shows some aging, including a crack in the pad, and the Autronic Eye headlight dimmer has not been tested under current ownership.

The odometer shows approximately 85,000 miles, with about 1,000 added by the seller. This Cadillac retains its period charm while benefiting from recent mechanical care and long-term family ownership. It is offered with a clean Indiana title, photos dating back to the 1970s, and additional spare parts.
