Exterior
The body has been refinished in white and retains the 100 BN1’s signature long hood, short deck proportions, and adjustable windshield. Details include a driver-side mirror, chrome bumpers with overriders, dual exhaust outlets, and blue California license plates. The custom aluminum firewall accommodates the V8 installation. A red tonneau cover is included, while no convertible top is currently fitted. Radir 15″ wheels are wrapped in 185/65 Dunlop SP Sport A2 tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums, and steering has been converted to rack-and-pinion.
Interior
The cabin is trimmed in red upholstery with matching carpeting, contrasting against the polished engine-turned dashboard fascia. Bucket seats are fitted with lap belts, and amenities include a push-button starter, a passenger grab handle, and a hand-formed aluminum transmission tunnel cover featuring the Austin-Healey lightning-bolt motif. A Don Garlits Hi-Performance Engines plaque is affixed to the dashboard. The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Stewart-Warner gauges, including a 160-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles.
Powertrain & Mechanical
The Chevrolet 350ci V8 was installed under prior ownership along with a custom aluminum firewall. Induction is via an Edelbrock 750cfm carburetor with electric choke atop an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold. Additional equipment includes an aftermarket camshaft, finned rocker covers, tubular exhaust headers, and an auxiliary electric cooling fan. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual gearbox.
